Drawing on over a hundred years’ experience in the manufacture and supply of wheels, our portfolio of products and solutions for agricultural machinery sector include wheels for tractors, harvesters, irrigation machinery and trailed equipment. We work with customers, distributors and tyre manufacturers to design products that solve real, everyday problems in the field and meet the needs of this constantly-evolving and demanding industry.
At GKN Wheels we are known for our solutions-led approach and can share many case studies on how we approach this. One is example is the development of bespoke solutions for off-highway applications to meet specific, and often challenging, conditions. Demonstrated in a collaborative project with leading material handling manufacturer, the company wanted to differentiate its products from competitors, which ultimately led to the development of a solution that delivered enhanced telehandler stability, greater tread life and lower operating costs. These examples show how wheels should be adapted for specific environments, challenges and to meet a variety of demands.
